Coming Soon

In mid-September Yohji Yamamoto unveiled his plans for "Coming Soon", a more affordable line aimed at young consumers looking to trade up from streetwear to more elegant pieces. According to Yamamoto CEO Keizo Tamoto, the focus will be on single items that can be mixed and matched. It's a departure for Yamamoto, whose followers are so devoted that they often wear his designs from head to toe. "If you buy a Yohji jacket, you need Yohji pants and maybe you need also a Yohji shirt and shoes," Tamoto said. "It's a very dangerous line". "Coming Soon" is described as a mix-and-match collection of easy-to-wear styles, from blouson jackets to T-shirts and accessories.

Wild for Wauchob

We have been fans of Sharon Wauchob for years. Her ability to work with silks and knits to create pieces that drape and fall so beautifully is remarkable. Sharon Wauchob's main line has been steadily growing and gaining popularity for about about five years and her newer Collection K has been in the works for two years. We love Ms. Wauchob and we are so happy to see our friend create and grow with such success.
To view Sharon Wauchob's Spring/Summer 2008 Collection as well as Collection K visit Anastasia Boutique, Cafe, and Gallery. The Fall/Winter 2008 collection will be available soon.
